Last I week I saw Jenny Hval
She came out dancing on a deflated ball
She sounded like this one, like that one, like this one, like that one,
No, not at all
Last week I saw Jenny Hval
Julie, Julie, Julie
Arms stretched out open to me
She sounded like one, like that one, like this one, like that one,
No, not really

SLOW
04:00
|
|||
It's a lot of weight, carry round, take it out
Be a gem say you'll stay the same, some other day
Oh, please take it slow
I, have no where to go for hours
Does it add up to the right amount?
Investment sound?
Directions state we have to pay,
But what do you say?
Oh, please take it slow
I, have no where to go for hours
Daniel, you'll go far
Daniel, you'll go far
Oh, I wish you would
Go to town.
Tell me how you got found.
Break glass, make a sharp blade,
But not if held in a certain way
Oh, please take it slow
I, have no where to go for hours
Daniel, you'll go far
Daniel, you'll go far
Daniel, you'll go far
Daniel, you'll go far

O THIS
03:34
|
|||
Thumper, Jumper moves too fast
But the water is cold and vast
Hollow is what we grow in time
If we do not tend to the vine
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing
Thumper, Jumper does not think twice
Fell for the call girl, tripped on his ice
A thoughtful plan would nice
However grand or a thin slice
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing
This o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this, o'this old thing

CLIFF
04:51
|
|||
Signs, lit up like lollies in line, so fine
Shinning down on us in rays til the water runs dry
Might see it in time
The cliff's light in our eyes
The wait of holding out and holding on and holding it in
Let the baiting begin.
Time is the promise that binds
All of us in one focused line
Moving on wards with each moment in line
Round again and a bit to the side
Might see it in time
The cliff's light in our eyes

GIANT SEALS
05:05
|
|||
I dream of giant seals
They come and care for me
Out of back passages
Cool water carnage
Karina sings of the city's lights
Captures a place in time
Tucked away from sight
That I can't quite remember, I can't quite remember,
I can't quite remember, I can't quite remember
Cicada take my mind
To tops of magnolia trees
Dolomite catches them
Puts them in jars for me
But I can't quite remember, I can't quite remember,
I can't quite remember, I can't quite remember
I dream of giant seals
They come and care for me
Out of back passages

EVER NEW
06:35
|
|||
We walk the tide before the sunrise
Though it's cold, we welcome the morning
Ever New, ever new, ever new, ever new
Summon the brood, learning to live with the cool
A measured way to avoid the fool
Make it look easy, too
Ever New, ever new
Step by step by step by step by step by step by step
Right at the edge, right at the edge
Ever New, ever new, ever new, ever new

KEPLER WELLS
04:07
|
|||
What was said along the way
Was not entirely conveyed.
An honest moment in the din
A welcomed tone from where we've been.
I've known all along, what it takes to find where we're going.
And now that we've gotten here,
I'm not sure what the plan is remaining.
We've gone miles along, climbing through the trials of their lives,
But though the current is strong, they can follow the pace along.
And the stories that come after, say they could fly faster.
To some we spill a little "thanks", and reminisce about the days:
Fireside, lemonade, sandy beaches in the shade.
Sweet summer serenade; the memories that we made!
Black Swan moves upon the surface through the deep.
Evan pulls the knowledge out from the history that he keeps,
He's gone miles along, climbing through the trials of his life,
But he's tuned in, making beats, counting in his sleep,
And the stories that come after, say he could fly faster.

MY BABY
02:40
|
|||
Gotta see, gotta see, gotta see, I gotta see my baby
Gotta tell, gotta tell, gotta tell, I gotta tell 'em I love them, so.
I know, I know, I know, I know, he won't "mean maybe"
I gotta see, my baby
Gotta hold, gotta hold, gotta hold, I gotta hold my baby.
Gotta hear, gotta hear, gotta hear, they love me, so.
I know, I know, I know, I know he don't "mean maybe"
I gotta see, my baby
Gonna feel the way we move. Gonna feel the way we move.
I know, I know, I know, I know he don't "mean maybe"
I gotta see my baby

THREAD
04:06
|
|||
Silk thread woven though miles
Bright blue porcelain tiles
Bread, broken and offered to you
You have,
You have infinite.
All the stories are the same
It's the feelings and names that have changed
Hands, hardened with time
Seem so soft, when I hold them in mine
You have,
You have infinite
Bloodlines inside and behind of you.
All the stories are the same
It's the feelings and names that have changed
That have changed
That have changed
That have changed
That have changed

PEACE THERE
04:09
|
|||
Duality, challenging the balancing.
Complexities break boundaries of this back and forth
And then don't
I wont always play the part
that was expected from the start
But into my arms you'll find peace there
Carefully, gracefully move with autonomy
sympathize
Fractured fissures, then I'm stuck in the middle so I
synthesize
Regret not a waste of care to risk the chance of failing to draw the line
So I don't
I wont always play the part
that was expected from the start
But into my arms you'll find peace there
oooo
I wont always play the part
that was expected from the start
But into my arms you'll find peace there
